Valve sealing ring is a core functional component that is precisely assembled inside or outside the valve body to achieve dynamic and static sealing of the valve. Its core function is to form a reliable physical barrier through the elastic deformation of the material in the closed state of the valve, completely blocking the leakage of the medium along the valve stem or valve body joint surface, thereby accurately regulating the on/off and flow direction of the fluid. This type of sealing ring is often made of special rubber, polymer or composite materials, which have excellent temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and mechanical wear resistance to adapt to harsh industrial conditions.

It should be clearly distinguished that there are essential differences in the functional positioning and installation location between flange gaskets and valve sealing rings. A flange gasket is a static sealing element pre installed between two flange sealing surfaces.
